The Sacred and Personal Meaning of Numbers ( Part One )

Image
There is an intricate interconnection between the art of existence and the precise mathematical explanation for every stillness and every motion. Every number is but a thread in the web of life. Each of us are both woven into and the weavers of this existential network that binds us together. Each natural number, which is a digit from 0 to 9 represents a different perspective from the same source and creation is not possible without the implementation and combination of all of them. These digits do not convey creation nor meaning by themselves, but when they are consciously illuminated by the higher mind, the reason and the subtle field of the heart, they serve as vehicles for conveying and rationalizing the message each of us carry through the timelines.   "Numbers are the Universal language offered by the deity to humans as confirmations of the truth" - St. Augustine of Hippo (AD. 354 - 430).  "From the singularity of the pre big - bang to the vastness of mul...

The Sacred and Personal Meaning of Numbers ( Part Two )

Image
Without further a due, I will share with you my findings on the mentioned natural numbers from 0 to 9, explaining their sacred meanings and their guidance and manifestation in our lives.  Zero is a void filled with both all and nothing. It is the super-consciousness within the singularity of creation and the eternal well without a bottom, in which all of it vanishes and reappears on the other side of the tunnel. It is the Cosmic Egg of eternity and the Absolute of the infinity. It is the everlasting energy of both the beginning and the end. In both the Buddhism and Taoism it is symbolized as the void and nothingness. In Islamic religion it is depicted as the Divine Essence. In Kabbalah it represents the Boundless, Limitless and Pythagora saw 0 as the Perfect, the Monad, the originator and the containor of everything. Because of these analogies it can not be assigned as a Life Path number.  One is the point of all beginnings and the unity of all beings. It is th...

The Sacred and Personal Meaning of Numbers ( Part Three )

Six  is the wonderful symbol embodied in the Merkabah field, the Star of Solomon. It is the ultimate unison of the male and the female aspects within the body, comprised of two joined triangles, the first one pointing upwards representing the male, the fire and the heavens, and the second one being the female pointing downwards towards the earth and the waters. According to the Hermetic principles, number six embraces the unique wholeness of things, " That which is Below is like unto that which is Above". In the Bible, man was created on the sixth day, and it is often times connected to the weakness of men and their six days a week of labor, till this day. As a life path number it is assigned to the nurturing individuals and the ones of service, who are very responsible and aware. Seven is the profound aspect of the spiritual Triad that descended into the physical plane of the four elements (The incorporation of the holy trinity 3 within the human physical experience...

The holy power of the sound and the words

Image
An uttered word has a magnificent power, a power we are often ignorant to. We are given the glorious ability to speak, to sing, to wield words with such ease and yet we forget about the responsibility with each and every spoken word and released sound. Everything is created by the vibrating sound. The matter is actually energy made visible by the sound and here are the words to represent it. Within every culture and tradition, there are so many elevating practices that are well taught about the holy healing properties of the words. A Prayer in Catholic and Orthodox Christianity represents a solemn request for assistance or expression of gratitude to God or an object of worship. In Judaism, the prayer is comprised of two aspects: kavanah (intention) and keva ( the ritualistic structure elements ). In Kabalah (Jewish mysticism) the series of "kavanot" is incorporated to specify the path the prayer ascends in the dialog with God. Here, there is a higher meaning...
